Xbox One be the First One to Know
Hello everyone! I hope you are ready for some Xbox News! So today is the day that many people have been waiting for, the reveal of the next-gen Xbox. Despite the site having some minor issues during the reveal went rather well. The new dashboard was shown, there were many demonstrations and cool features revolving around voice commands, they showed how live TV was easy to access and very easily managed.
One of the main things which grabbed my attention were the new specifications, they included: An 8 core CPU 8gb of RAM a 500gb harddrivea blue-ray drive802.11n wireless adapterHDMI output and input ports and USB 3.0 ports It was even stated that the Xbox would simultaneously run three operating systems at once......the improved Xbox Operating system, a windows Kernel system and a third unspecified system that would help link the first two operating systems together.
These essentially ensure the apparent seamless transitions from game, to TV, to live and back to game at very simple and quick voice commands. It is also stated during the announcement that every new Xbox One console will come with the new and improved Kindest Sensor. Greatly improved to better detect motion, depth and orientation and provides a 1080p wide field view camera. The new Xbox One controller essentially works the same as previous controllers, with a new design and 'impulse' triggers......not much information went in to what impulse triggers are but it sounds as though the triggers on the controller would be able to react to whets displayed in game......for example they may vibrate whilst shooting.
Despite all the new content involving the cloud and live TV, Xbox Live membership is stated to remain the same as always......however one interesting tad-bit of information was that there will be over 300,000 servers dealing with Xbox One content all over the world......this being a much higher number than the amount of servers used beforehand before I forget, something really cool coming to the Xbox One is that it will include an inbuilt game DVR, allowing players to record and share video and images to the cloud of their games.
As someone who previous brought a HDPVR for a lot of money and subsequently had it catch on fire... I'm happy it's now just being built in. Now onto some games...it was announced that there will be 15 Xbox One exclusive games in the first year of launch, 8 of them being brand new franchises. My personal view on the reveals is as follows....holy crap the new Xbox One looks like a Brick...wait...Xbox One? Not Xbox 720, or Xbox Fusion...we are going with Xbox One here? How much was a guy paid to come up with that name?
Everything else looks amazing and sounds great. I cannot wait to hear what the PS4 has to offer......and how it will challenge the Xbox One but for now that is the core highlights of the Xbox One announcement. There were some details in there about upcoming EA games, a new EA game engine and even a Halo Live Action TV series......which seemed to have been written by Steven Spielberg, who apparently is an avid gamer, who would have knew. I won’t go into any further details about that in this video but I will include a link to the entire reveal in the description down below so do feel free to check it out. And that is all for today, I hope you all enjoyed, please feel free to like and subscribe if you haven't already and I will see you tomorrow! Goodbye.
